I bought my F-150 Lightning from Stivers Ford back in July, and I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review just to see how everything settled. After a few months and plenty of conversations with other dealerships during my car-buying journey, I can honestly say Stivers Ford is one of the best around. Brian Benson was the reason the whole process felt so easy. He never pressured me, never rushed anything, and always kept me in the loop. Every question I had was answered clearly, and he made sure I understood every step of the transaction. It was the kind of experience where you walk away feeling like someone actually took care of you instead of just trying to make a sale. Looking back, I really appreciate how smooth and straightforward everything was. No surprises, no runaround, just a genuinely good experience. If anything, the months after my purchase made me appreciate it even more, especially after dealing with other dealerships that didn’t even come close to this level of service. I’d absolutely do business with them again, and I’d recommend Brian to anyone looking for a truck. He made a big purchase feel simple, and that alone says a lot.

My wife Karen and I just had the most extreme pleasure to purchase a beautiful 2021 silver Lincoln Corsair Standard from Brian Schroeder. What a phenomenal car shopping experience we shared!! I have been purchasing cars for over 45 years and I’ve never had a more incredible car buying experience than we had with Brian. To call him a top sales professional does not adequately describe how absolutely incredible Brian is. From the moment we first met him, Brian’s style immediately impressed us. He made us feel comfortable, understood what Karen was looking for, and answered all of our many questions. We test drove the Corsair late Saturday afternoon but wanted to think about the purchase over the weekend. No problem! My wife and I were looking for a 2022+ Ford Edge. Through various test drives at dealers in MSP area, that didn't result in a purchase, we decided to expand our search criteria. Stivers Ford in DesMoines, Iowa was within our expanded search radius. We found a 2022 Ford Edge on the lot at Stivers Ford just outside DesMoines. We contacted the dealership through CarGurus. The salesperson, Brian Schroeder, replied almost immediately. We exchanged text messages and phone calls and agreed on a final sales price. On Thursday, July 10, 2025, my wife and I drove from MSP to Des Moines to drive the vehicle. We arrived, and the car was already in the front row for a test drive. I give great recommendations for salesperson Brian Schroeder and finance guy Jason for getting us the Ford Edge on great terms. It was definitely worth my wife and I driving from MSP to DesMoines to get a great car at a great value.

I was looking to buy a vehicle because my previous one just wasn't worth investing anymore money into for me. I had some problems over at Deery in Pleasant Hill. Then I came to Stivers a couple weeks ago to look at another Fusion, but Brian in used sales said he couldn't find the keys, which was fine. I test drove a different Fusion (pictured) that better fit my needs. It was a little over budget, but it was definitely still within reason. Ended up liking the Fusion enough that I moved forward in the process to buying the vehicle. This leads me to Kit, who also excellent! He tried and tried and tried to be able to get me approved for a loan without a cosigner, and was approved! Even though Brian was busy with another customer as well, he did a great job in keeping me updated as to what was going on, and to Kit giving me a call a week later telling me that I got a better interest rate! These guys are great in communicating during the whole process and even afterwards. Definitely starting here when I need a new used vehicle or a new new vehicle. Liked that I was never pressured into anything! Kit and Brian in used car sales should get a raise!

Purchased a 2018 F150 from Stivers the other day. I worked with Brian Schroeder to find exactly what I needed. Took a couple of weeks to get one in but it is perfect. The sticker price still was a little under market value. I continue getting updates from other dealers and Stivers is beating all of their pricing. Chad Lane made the purchase process pretty simple. He had all of my info set up when I arrived and only took about 30 minutes to sign some documents and walk out with a truck. Now the real test of a car seller. I found a very minor flaw in the truck before purchase. Needed the truck for job that next day. We schedule to get the vehicle in to the shop when I returned. Showed up 4hrs early and they were already waiting for the truck. Took about 45 minutes and good as gold. Thank you!
